Campbell's Student Visionaries of the Year Fundraiser
My grandmother, Jan Hughes, whom her grandkids called Nan, died of multiple myeloma when she was only 62 years old. If you knew her, you know she was smart, stylish, and made everything fun. You also know she was passionate about – and excellent at - fundraising for important causes in our community. I am honoring my grandmother by raising money to find cures for leukemia, lymphoma, and myeloma. Since Nan died, critical advancements have been made in treating multiple myeloma such as CAR T-cell therapy, which would have helped, and possibly saved her if she were alive today.
Please join me in supporting The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s work to help the
millions of people fighting blood cancers as courageously as Nan did. I, along with my teammates on Team Fight Club, are part of a unique philanthropic leadership program for high school students, and our goal is to raise $190,000 for LLS with the hope that one day no one will have to grow up without the ones they love. Your donation can be made during the seven-week fundraising campaign beginning January 10, 2025 and ending on March 1. All funds go toward the essential research of LLS.
